How to measure a wrap or ring sling

Wrap

Wraps have tails which means that the fabric is skewed instead of being cut at a 90° angle at the ends.

Some brands love these tails and make them long while others prefer shorter ones. That makes the tails interesting.

The tail is measured from the tip of the wrap to the point where it reaches its full width.

When measuring the length of the wrap only one of the tails is included as shown on the illustration.

Ring sling

Ring slings only have one tail.

The tail is measured from the tip of the ring sling to the point where it reaches its full width.

When measuring the length of a ring sling the tail is not included as shown on the illustration.
